In fact, we handle everything for you. Expert, helpful and determined to deliver outstanding quality in design and workmanship.
As founder of The London Front Garden Company, I have a passion for creating and restoring period front gardens.
There are surprising numbers of issues and complexities in sourcing all the materials and know-how required to deliver the very best outcomes. It can be extremely daunting - so I set up a company that will do it all for you.
I hope you will like what you find here and that you will be encouraged to submit an enquiry to us. I look forward to meeting you.
All over London there are acres of terraced houses from the Victorian, Edwardian and other periods, most of which have been updated and improved with loft conversions, side-return extensions and basement upgrades.
Often, though, there's been less attention paid to the outside – to the entrance and the front garden.
This is often because of the difficulty of sourcing the variety of skills and products required for a sympathetic restoration – ironwork for gates and railings, stonework for steps, copings and paving, mosaic tiling for paths and porches, brickwork for walls and piers, plant choice and planting. The list seems endless!
We do all of this, and more!
We offer expert advice on design, materials and planting.
If necessary, we can make sure you obtain Planning Permission and/or comply with Conservation Area provisions.
We look after everything for you – we organise skips and bay suspension licences, source all the materials necessary and make sure they are delivered on time. Our skilled tradesmen then pull everything together, using their experience to ensure that walls, railings, gates, paths, porches and a host of other items all come together to create a new front garden that does credit to your home.
Our experience allows us to create a new front garden in the style best suited to your property, using materials and designs that are wholly sympathetic and appropriate – particularly important, of course, if you are in a Conservation Area.
We understand that this is a significant investment and know how important it is that it increases both the looks and value of your home.
We do everything possible to meet or to exceed your expectations. The whole team takes pride in giving you a new front garden that adds value to your home and gives you an extra sense of pride every time you go through the front gate.
